Big Band X-Press is a volunteer group of musicians located in Ridgecrest, California. We play primarily big band dance music for dances, weddings and other similar events.
We have a catalog of over 300 hundred songs, including such classics as "Chattanooga Choo-Choo" and "In the Mood". We typically perform standard 20 piece big band arrangements with 2 alto saxophones, 2 tenor saxophones, 1 baritone saxophone, 4-5 trombones, 4-5 trumpets, drums, piano, bass, guitar and vocalist.
Our goals are to have fun and make sure that our audience has fun.
Big Band X-Press was formed in 1986, making this our 20th anniversary!
